Dr.He from Tennessee Technological University Visiting Jinan

From May 31st to June 2nd, Dr. Xubin He, Associate professor of Tennessee Technological University, visited Jinan University. On the afternoon of June 1st, Prof. He gave a lecture on A Dynamic Performance-based Flow Control Method for High-Speed Data Transfer to the faculty and students of College of Information Science and Technology, which was hosted by Prof. Zhou Jipeng and followed by a lively discussion.

Professor He demonstrated why PA-UDP was an effective way to scale data flow gracefully given hardware limitations. He was impressed with the capability exhibited by our students during the interaction of the talk. After the lecture, Prof. He and the staff from the Information School exchanged ideas about the academic issues and the possibility of future cooperation.
