Chancellor of UWEC Visiting JNU

On the afternoon of June 17, Dr. Brian Levin-Stankevich visited Jinan University. Prof. Ji Zong an, Vice President met with Dr. Stankevich on behalf of President. Hu Jun, who is visiting abroad. Also attending the meeting included Ms. Liu Yuqing, Deputy Dean of Zhuhai Campus and Mr. Li Lijia, Deputy Director of the International Affairs Office.

The relationship between JNU and UWEC, mainly on staff and student exchange, can trace back to more than 20 years ago. Prof. Ji warmly welcomed Dr. Stankevich and expressed her hope that the two universities could strengthen cooperation. She also introduced to Dr. Stankevich about JNU s Law School, College of Intellectual Property and Research of JNU on overseas Chinese.

This is the third visit of Dr. Stankevich to JNU since he was inaugurated as Chancellor of UWEC four years ago. He said he highly valued and was proud of the cooperation with JNU. He also sang high praise of JNU staff sent to UWEC and said they had made great contribution in developping the curriculum of Chinese language and culture. The staff sent from UWEC here also saw the experience as an invaluable part in their career life.
