NEW YORK, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Fashion apparel retailer Fashion Bug is giving budget-minded shoppers a reason to go shopping by staging coast-to-coast runway shows at more than 900 stores nationwide on September 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. in all time zones.

30 thousand real women across the country will model affordable fall and back-to-school looks to raise awareness that consumers can find fashionable clothes without spending a lot of money.

"We want to make a statement and show consumers that they can add fashionable new pieces to their fall wardrobe without breaking their budget," said Lisa Sandberg, Director of Communications and Public Relations for Fashion Bug. "We would like to invite women to sign up to model in this historic event by going to their local Fashion Bug," Sandberg added.

The nationwide fashion show also launches a new collection of jeans and pants featuring Right Fit technology. The bottoms made with Right Fit are available in 3 customized body shapes based on a waist-to-hip ratio. Priced from $24.99 to $29.99, the collection gives women a designer fit without a designer price.

During the week of the fashion show Fashion Bug is offering special discounts on fashions -- including the collection featuring Right Fit -- an example of the company's commitment to providing affordable fashions to consumers.

Women of all sizes are invited to model in this fashion event by signing up at their nearest Fashion Bug store. To find your local Fashion Bug go to www.fashionbug.com .
