India: Jaydeep Cotton Fiber bag exporters excellence award

The award function organized by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) in association with Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) saw five Gujarat based export companies bagging the prestigious excellence award for their enormous contribution to strengthening the Indian economy.
Rajkot-based Jaydeep Cotton Fibers Pvt Ltd, was one of the five export enterprises to have received the excellence award in medium size category for textiles.
The awards were accorded only after a thorough survey of the enterprises based on aspects of reputation in international market, annual turnover, and quality of the expoted goods.
In an exclusive interview with Fibre2fashion, Mr Chirag Patel, CEO of Jaydeep Cotton Fibers said, “We mainly deal with manufacturing of Shankar 6 variety of raw cotton since the demand for this is very strong in the international market. Most of this raw material is exported to countries like China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Turkey.”
Mr Patel also divulged that the company’s annual production capacity is about 80,000 meter per ton and it usually exports 85 percent of its total produce.
