US promote to adjust rule of original for China curtain

On April.6, US conscript father for New York –Charles Schumer delivered a bill for adjusting Rules of Original of curtain products.

According to agreement between China and US, chemical fiber curtain product(666category) is pose the quota restriction. The clearance statistic from US shows that until the end of 2006, the product clearance rate is only 3.8%. The news release argue that some"MADE IN CHINA" curtains has not been imposed quota restriction because it is labeled "MADE IN TAIWAN", which is made up of Taiwan fabric,but processed by China enterprises.

The statistic from US Textile & Garment Office shows that during January to November,2006, US imported chemical fiber curtain reached 65.85million USD.
