EU plan to decrease the anti-dumping tariff of Pakistan

It is reported by Pakistan <> on March22 that Commerce minister Humayun Akhtar said EU ministerial committee will pass the decision about decreasing anti-dumping tariff of bedding.

Hu mayun said that EU will begin to impose 15.4% tariff on Pakistan bedding, including 5.8% anti-dumping tax, 9.6% common tariff, 25.1% in 2005,all of which promote EUs textile export. At present, Pakistans main competitor in EU textile market is China and India. When talking about the export stats in the first eight months, he said that the export for first eight months have reached $106billion,increased by 20%, over 18% than planned one.
