India media report that the increasing range of India textile export exceed that of China. The updated data from US textile & apparel office show that India textile export in January increased by 34% , 21% over than China, Pakistan 36%, over than India.
In November,2005, India textile export is quicker than China. In last December and this January, it continue to increase, especially the export to US arrive at top point. DK Nair-the secretary of India textile alliance said that China is not the powerful threat regarded by India. Promoting export by clothing trade is favorable to India.
India clothing exported to US increase most , up 46%, China 15%, Pakistan 35% comparably, India non-clothing export is up 28%, Pakistan most-36% , China 22%. For export sum, India textile export is increased by 48%, up 17% than China , 46% than Pakistani.
The expert analysis that China textile industry are facing the pressure of wage-advancing, labor shortage as well as the criticism of currency depreciation. Besides, nearly 45% credit of nation-owned enterprises become NPAs due to shortage of efficient currency management. For Chinas promises to cash in all market economy factors before 2008, Chinas change is supervised by West observer.
Chinas cotton output decrease also due to the reducing planting area. All above is favorable to India which is anticipated to export 80% cotton to China in this year. Expert said that the export increasing will not decline in this year.
