The new statistic from France Custom show that China fashion exported to France in 2005 is Euro 16billion, increased by 56%, including knitting exported to France 66%, texture and yarn 44%, fabric 9%,ranked second among France textile supply countries.
This news issued by France textile industry trade association and Fashion industry trade association together also prove that: France import fashion valued Euro73billion in 2005, increased by 6%, export fashion Euro37 billion, export textile Euro 81billion, decreased by 3% including textile export Euro29billion, fabric export Euro 18billion, yarn export Euro7.4billion, fiber export Euro 1.88billion; trade deficit of textile trade is Euro40billion, increased by 14%.
The rank of top ten supply import countries for France apparel in 2005 is as follows: China first, account for 22.6% of total France fashion import ; Tunis second, account for 9.7%, decreased by 8%; Italy third, account for 9.6%, increased by 4%; Morocco forth, account for 7.6%, decreased by 5%;Beligum fifth, account for 5.2%,increased by 6%; India sixth, account for 4.9%,increased by 29%; turkey seventh, account for 4%,increased by 23%; Rumania eighth, account for 4%, decreased by 1%; Spain ninth, account for 3%,increased by 3%; German tenth, account for 3%,decreased by 12%. The ten top export countries for France fashion is :Spain 11.1%, Belgium 10.1%,Italy 9.7%, England 9.4%, German 7.9%, America 6.6%, Japan 5.6%, Switzerland 3.7%, Holland 3.2%, Portugal 2.8%.
