The United States is going to impose anti-dumping investigation over imports of polyester staple fibers from China,Thailand and Indonesia. Exporting companies in China had got advice from China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles(CCCT) to rapidly prepare the necessary documentation that will be requested by US government.

The exports involved in the case could amount US $57.65 million, according to statistics from CCCT.The investigation would cover HS number 55032000, namely polyester staple fibers, not processed for spinning that are used in production of spun yarns or stuffing materials.

The same products had been imposed anti-dumping duty by EU s member states in March 2005. Once the US side decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products, China s exporters would encounter another great loss in the market.
