India media report that India Apparel Export Promotion Chamber will establish a research center to support fashion industry. General secretary of AEPC K.K Jalan point out when he preside an exporter meeting: The scheme for item of research center have been finished, elementary fee in this fiscal year is 80million rupee.
The research center can promote fashion trade and take advantage of Ludhiana where gather many potential exporters, he explain, research center will serve for association and industry and will train 5500 people in different training center and Ludhiana center , major of them entering into company and enterprises during 2005-2006.
Jalan said that the personnel be trained include about 40% country female worker; some of them receive 2-3 invitation. Council hope to train 100000workers, such as sewing and manager etc and plan to establish four new centers in Surat etc.
