India media report that to make up the market share in EU by taking advantage of the development of retail industry, the denim enterprise in Gigulate is planning to produce denim fashion and home textile.
Up to now, over 70% of India denim gross have been exported to overseas market. China and Turkey-the near neighbor of Europe are the biggest competitors. Denim manufacture enterprises such as Aarvee Denim Co., Jindal Co. and Nandan Exim Co. consider that over 7billion Rupee should be invested into home textile manufacture.
Aarvee Denim Co. plan to invest 1billion Rupee in home textile producing first, then invest in fashion manufacture. Companys executive director Ashish Shah said that up to now, the amount of denim cloth account for 90% of total production , therefore, we hope to expand production in other field enter into newly prosperous home textile industry with the help of expert.
At present, market forecast accelerate the step of India denim enterprise into inland fabric mark. however, Aarvee or Arvind textile factory will not produce the garment for export. The president of India textile committee Nayan Parikh said:"I feel that at present, EUs development speed can worry people, Turkey have exceeded India, so I think that India denim enterprise must enhance enterprising spirit." India denim enterprise is striving to build retail channel for denim clothes in some inland cities.
