The production of cotton & sugarcane is decreased by 13% and 6.2% compared with last financial year, which influence GDP and reduce Agriculture s increase rate from 6.7% to 2.5% in this financial year.
To ensure the achievement of cotton production in new financial year, Pakistan government will further the devotion for planter by supplying enough fertilizer and insecticide.
