The overseas telegraph report that Mexico textile &fashion industry promote future government to continual striking smuggle, improve competition capability and solid trade relationship.
It is reported that Mexico will hold general election in June.2, main textile & fashion association in Mexico—Canaintex have delivered its appeal to five parties participating election.
The spokesman of CNTV disclose that government have made effect in striking smuggle, but still hope that new government have more force to strike smuggle and take efficient measures to help inland textile industry upgrade competition capability, such as increase research capital, encourage inland trade league to help textile industry alleviate increasing competition capability from Asia.
The statistic show that the sale of smuggling textile by Mexico reach $8billion, accounting for 50% of Mexico textile & fashion trade and still make great influence on Mexico inland textile industry though decreased by 70% than 2004.
