Leading mills purchased lint of all qualities at a slightly higher price during the trading session.
Lint of Doulat Pur Safan in Sindh sold 300 bales at Rs 2800 per maund, the highest marked this season.
Besides, yarn exports to China are also at its peak and has led to aggressive posture of the market going up and market sentiments are also upbeat.
But, business volume was very low because of high rates, which compelled buyers to be calculative and selective while purchasing.
Demand of coarse count yarn was high and cotton sales improved, reported trade sources.
