Thailand cotton yarn export continues to increase. In May, the export reach 0.36billion Baht, increased by 10.6%, the export during January-May reach 1.909 billion Baht, increased by 6.7%. Comparatively, the import of cotton yarn in May is only 0.171billion Baht, decreased by 28%.

In May, the main export market for cotton yarn is Hong Kong, Japan, Portugal and South-Korea. The cotton yarn exported to Hong Kong rise dramatically, the one during January to May reach 0.238billion Baht, increased by 121.8%, ranked second, only less than China.

Cotton yarn is imported mainly from China, India, Pakistan and Indonesia.
