Nigeria government plan to collect 50billion Naira to develop textile industry

The news from Nigeria <> show that Nigeria Federation Government who plan to collect 50billion Naira to promote the prosperity of Nigeria textile industry have established a special workgroup at present.
The minister of Nigeria Finance Ministry-Esther Nenadi Usman show her worry about textile industry. She said: Nigeria textile companies have been reduced from 175 to 24, which result in the loss of 0.2million employments, Besides, the extremely out-dated equipments used by these companies impair the throughput and competition capability of Nigeria , therefore, Nigeria federation government is considering to offer preferable loan to support textile industry.
Usman show : One main reason for Nigeria government choosing to support textile industry is that textile industry can provide more employments compared with other manufacturing.
This work group composed by ten peoples is leaded by Usman, its members include: minister of Agriculture & Country Development Ministry, Minister of Industry Ministry, President of Nigeria Central Bank, Special consultant of manufacturing & private industry, Nigeria Import & Export Bank, President of Industry Bank, president of manufacturing association, Secretary-general of Federation Office.
