Fashion designer Manish Arora & Puja Arya will highlight their spring -summer collection at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week from August ,30 September is presented by FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India).
Arrora spring-summer collection cherish Fry?is full of organza and chiffons in soft colours like baby pink, sea green and white. However, Puja romantic and soft" collection is in lots of pink, beige and bright yellow.
Manish has changed his signature style and is experimenting with subtler shades. He said that he is showing 40 dresses with fewer in bright colours in Fish Fry range. He added, then you are working with light fabrics like organza you have to be careful with the colours and designs in the lining.
He has maintained interaction with nature by embossing birds, fish, flowers, trees, and the varied colours of the sky in his clothes. Therefore, for a light pink skirt, a matching inner skirt comes with dog prints.
While designer Puja Arya has used bigger prints in place of the small block prints, fusing new life into a dormant art form. Her works entrusted with Jaipur traditional hand block-printing techniques like bandhini and lahariya.
The collection designed for the global young woman, includes a variety of dresses like long and short skirts, saris, tops with puffed sleeves and accessories like bags and scarves by taking inspiration from Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood song "Strawberries, Cherries and an Angel Kiss of spring.?
She explains that the use of these colours makes the outfits look stylish yet relaxed. Comfort and style are the two things included in the collection. The use of fabrics such as chiffon, georgette and cotton guarantees comfort and at the same time gives a touch of elegance to the clothing.
