The consumption of Romania fashion & footwear increase continually

A report from market the research company Euromonitor show that compared with 2004, the consumption of Romania fashion & footwear is increased by nearly 10% in 2005 at the quickest speed, the sale reaching 0.306billin Euro.
The research shows that with the limited financial, major Romanian tend to buy cheap product without brand when they purchase fashion & footwear and try to cost least money to buy wear for all seasons. However, there is big income gap in Romania, part consumers began to favor famous brand products with high price while some consumers, especially young men in city is critical to the quality and brand of fashion and sports shoes.
The statistics shows that every Romanian owns 5 pairs of shoes, 20% of total Romanian has no footwear for winter, 30% of them have a pair of boot and other cotton boot, and about 30% have no sandal.
The report shows that with the increasing living standard of Romania, the upgrading of consumption class, brand apparel will be main-stream in Romania market, Recent years, many international famous fashion and footwear franchised stores emerged in Romania and develop continually. In next year when Romania enters into EU, Famous brands can speed to expand themselves in Romania.
