ROGERS --Wal-Mart is unraveling its fabrics departments, at least at some stores.
An employee at the Wal-Mart Supercenter at Pleasant Crossing in Rogers said fabric items still were in the store Tuesday.
However, she said she had been told to mark down all fabric items to 50 percent off or more starting this morning.
The fate of the fabrics and notions section of the Springdale Wal-Mart Supercenter was uncertain.
"We haven't been told whether or not we are going out of business," said an employee who answered the phone at the Springdale fabrics department on Tuesday.
The employee said fabrics departments are being phased out in stores according to districts and she was unsure when the Springdale Wal-Mart would learn its fabrics fate.
