Women spend an estimated 85 percent of the $7 trillion that Americans outlay in personal expenditures each year. The second annual Spring Secrets-A Pink Diamond Affair promises to harness this collective consumer power at a three-day event that is all about revealing the latest, most sought-after products women are dropping every thing to obtain - while giving back to the community.
On April 26, 28 and 29, women powerhouses in the fields of entertainment, law, health, fashion, technology and business will gather to get a first look at innovative products and services that enhance life. From cosmetics and fitness options to personal investment and business development opportunities, the offerings transcend the typical trade-show or convention fare by pampering and enlightening guests in opulent settings while fostering networking and illuminating new, provocative, refreshing ideas.
Spring Secrets, however, isn't just about the gifts, says Lela Thompson, executive producer: "This three-day lavish affair also provides an opportunity to highlight two charities that conduct exceptional outreach to children and families in Southern California: P.S. I Love You Foundation
Spring Secrets kicks off on Thursday, April 26 in Hollywood at the ultra-chic indoor-outdoor lounge Les Deux. This exclusive celebration, presented by Dolce Group, will be "An Evening In Paradise," set to be hosted by actress Vanessa A. Williams ("Soul Food"). It will showcase new and innovative products while featuring a silent auction to benefit P.S. I Love You Foundation. Hidden Beach Recordings artist Leigh Jones, whose debut album "Cold in L.A." is due out in July, will perform at "An Evening In Paradise."

On Saturday, April 28, guests will paint the town pink at the Pink Diamond Gala, an exclusive mansion party in Beverly Hills featuring entertainment, fine cuisine, new product unveilings - and special surprises, including new music from Hidden Beach Recordings artist Sunny Hawkins, whose new album "More of You" is scheduled for release next month.
Then on Sunday, April 29 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Spring Secrets will hold its most anticipated event, the Signature Luncheon. The event will provide participating corporate partners with a forum to promote new products and services to a distinguished group of women.
Hosted by Steve Harvey Morning Radio co-host Nautica De La Cruz, the Signature Luncheon will be the setting of a silent auction to benefit Lula Washington Dance Theatre and will feature musical performances from Jones, Hawkins and Onitsha, whose Hidden Beach Recordings debut album "Church Girl" is due out this month.
The Signature Luncheon will also honor two driven, creative and socially conscious women who are making their mark on society. The Honorable Jeanette T. Ndhlovu, Consul-General of the Republic of South Africa, will receive the Pink Diamond of Courage Award, and Jessica Fisher, Executive Publisher of Broker Agent Magazine, will receive the Pink Diamond Trailblazer Award.
"Spring Secrets begs the question, 'Where will you be this spring?' Spring Secrets is the hottest ticket in town. This event willmake history by celebrating the successes of women as well as make a contribution to the future of our society," Thompson concludes.
