Swim 'n Sport is one of the leading retailers in beach-wear catering to women of older age-groups.
Company recently added three new outlets to extend its chain to 36 stores. Sources inform that the retailer hopes to have over 40 stores by next summer and raise it to 50 by 2009.
Swim 'n Sport offers middle and high-end price products, especially stacking brands like Calvin Klein and Michael Kors.
The overall swimsuit market hit $4 billion in 2006, a 5.3 percent growth over 2005. However, statistics show that industry hasn't had huge growth in the past five-six years.
Analysts say that the market for upper-range swimwear is growing but that in lower-end is sluggish. Most of the swimwear market concentrates in middle and upper range products.
