Among the innovations being presented at Techtextil is the "CoolBlack" finish. It ensures, among other things, that dark motorcycling textiles stay cool for a long time, even when exposed to intense sunlight. A product launched last year and very well received is c_change, the bionic climate membrane.
Not only is it water and windproof it is also able to individually adapt its moisture vapour permeability to the activity and temperature. For workwear and "personal protection equipment", functional soft shells are advancing rapidly. They blend safety with a high degree of comfort.
Schoeller is showing, for example, highly-functional soft shells with c_change and NanoSphere in neon colors; in total a range of over 100 soft shells is offered. For the last seven years, Schoeller has also been designing fabric constructions for filigree, light and modern office chairs. In Frankfurt, the current fabrics are being shown at the stand.
Maximum protection for the last 25 years:
In the range of highly abrasion and tear proof keprotec fabrics, the high-tech company is showing, for example, fall-proof innovations with eyecatching looks.
In addition to meeting the normal standards, a new fire protection fabric with a cleverly designed material mix offers a high level of clothing comfort and less weight as well as protection from saturation and thermal bridges.
For the luggage area too, there are fabrics with a high Kevlar content combined with the water and stain repellent NanoSphere finish. They ensure that the bag or suitcase retains its attractive appearance even after long use.
For almost 25 years the keprotec brand has maintained its original image of offering "maximum protection“.. Among the Reflex qualities innovations such as "Reflex with mesh structure“, "Reflex with high-visibility colors for EN-471-compliant clothing" or fabrics with "Reflex coating" will be shown.
