Get ready. Los Angeles Fashion Week is around the corner. California Apparel News will keep you updated with events as they are added to the schedule. And we’ll keep you up-to-date with coverage from the shows.
Petro Zillia designer Nony Totcherman kicks things off early with a trunk show at her store on West Third Street. Fashion Week events officially begin on March 13 with a presentation by men’s line Idoc Radec and Gen Art’s presentation of three local designers.
This season, BOXeight emerges as the central fashion-show event, with a slate of shows kicking off on March 14 at the Los Angeles Theater. But a new fashion show group—the City of Los Angeles Fashion Week, or CoLA Fashion Week—debuts as a to-be-named in downtown Los Angeles.
There are also plenty of independent events, including Kevan Hall’s runway presentation of his Fall ’09 collection at The Colleagues’ annual luncheon in Beverly Hills to benefit the Children’s Institute.
