Malaysian handicraft products, which have already well received in Europe, will also be introduced into China and other Asian Countries in 2010, according to Information Communication and Culture Minister Rais Yatim.
A promotional program named Kraf Aidilfitri 2009 is the fifth in its series which has set a target of RM1.5 million with the participation of 140 entrepreneurs. At this time, the country is looking into introducing its handicrafts in China, Japan and South Korea and to continue its handicraft exhibition in London as well, said Yatim.
The Malaysian handicraft products had also been brought to Britain in the past years, for instance, to Harrods and other major markets in London.
