According to Beijing Commerce Information Center, the sales of lady's wear in Beijing's 22 big department stores (annul sales exceeding 100 million yuan) reached 238 million yuan in July, rising 6.74% from the same period last year. The accumulated sales from Jan. to July were 2.01 billion yuan.
Looking to the data of top 10 stores for lady's wear sales, Cuiwei ranked No. 1 with 28 million yuan in July, but dropping 21.88% from a year ago. Yansha descended to third place with five million yuan less than that of June. While Shunyi Guotai rose to No.2 with 15.26% growth to 27 million yuan. Followed by Saite, Ganjiakou, Modern, Wangfujing and Shuang'an, with sales between 15-16 million yuan. No. 9 and No. 10 reported sales income 14 million yuan and 15 million yuan respectively. Comparing to the figures in June, the gaps in top 10 department stores were not distinct.
Referring to the top 10 lady's wear brands with sales income in July, the best sales were ONLY and VERO MODA, both exceeding six million yuan, especially ONLY, whose sales rising 30.29% from a month ago, to 8.25 million yuan. No. 3 to No. 7 were Ports, ESPRIT, Meiermei, Marisfrolg and White Collar, with sales income between four to five million yuan.
Referring to the top 10 lady's wear brands with sales volume, most of them witnessed sales growth in July, but the gaps were clear. ONLY and VERO MODA accounted for 6.82% and 6.38% of the total sales of lady's wear. Ietam and ESPRIT made remarkable sales growth because of their marketing campaign, rising 104.42% and 72.69% from a month ago, accouting for 4 points of total sales and ranked No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. The rest accounted for 1-2 percentage points of the total sales.
