According to Yiwu Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine, the textile and garment export in this region were 26,913 batches from Jan. to Sept. this year, with value of 942.128 million USD, rising 29.57% and 32.66% from the same period last year respectively. Both the volume and value realized big growth.
Under the impact of industry situation in home and abroad, Yiwu textile mills understand the low level products are not competitive in the market and turn to improve quality and added value for their products. The Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine also help those enterprises to improve their management and product quality with many meatures. For example, they take strict inpection on the safety, healthy and anti-fraudulence; study and trace the overseas techincal trade policy changes and feadback to the exporter; training courses on technical items and standards of textile and garment in foreign countries, to help exporter meet those technical requirement in their production, and lead the textile mills changing from competing with volume to competing with quality.
