A textile firm, ‘Suminoe Textile of America’ has announced its plans to expand carpet manufacturing facilities. It revealed that it will take up a facility in Cherokee County, North Carolina and convert it into a carpet factory at an investment of US $6.5 million.
This expansion will offer jobs to around 50 workers, for which, recruitments will commence in the month of February. Currently, the company manufactures myriad variety of textile items.
The carpets would possibly see more buyers at home and abroad as the recessionary impact is slowing down gradually.
