Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty will release a five-year jobs plan that includes encouraging growth of Toronto's financial-services industry and boosting chromite mining in the northwest, the Toronto Star reported.
The plan will focus on promising areas of the province's economy, such as the development of clean-water technologies, the Star said.
McGuinty offered glimpses of the plan in a speech last night and will outline the program when the Liberal government presents its new legislative agenda on March 8.
