The magnitude 9.0 quake hit Japan on march 11th and all reactors in the north-eastern part of Japan had shut down after that. CNNC made a quick react to this massive earthquake and tsunami of China s close neighbor. All of its 8 in operation nuclear power plants began cooperate with local Marine Meteorological Department immediately in order to get the latest information of any possible impact on its nuclear power plant caused by this earthquake and tsunami in Japan and to make sure that all reactors in operation are in control.
The result shows that Japan earthquake did not influence each one of CNNC s nuclear power plants. So far, all reactors are running stably without any possible problems.
