CNNC's First Wind Power Project Put into Operation

On Dec 29th, part of the first 50MWe wind power project in its phase I of CNNC s Gansu Wind Power Co.,Ltd put into operation. It marks CNNC s effort in research and construction of wind power has achieved substantive progress after the successful development of nuclear power and water power.
With sufficient use of mutual advantage, this wind power project in Gansu province mine area was developed by CNNC and CGDC. In the twelfth Five-Year Plans , the overall plan for Gansu wind power project was about 800MWe and phase I 50 MWe planned to be finished in Oct, 2011.
