a few days ago the new generation nuclear power equipment,localized ML-B controlrod drive mechanism has been researched and produced successfully, being designed,manufactured and tested by Nuclear power institute of China. ML-B control rod drive mechanism is the improved generation of ML-A CRDM.At present the relative testing of this control rod drive mechanism has been finishend, and the new control rod drive mechanism has achieved the design requestment of the second and improved 1000 Mwe- pressurized water reactor plant unit of nuclear power and now the mechanism operates in good condition and still has the ability of continue operation.
