Auzex Resources intersects bonanza near surface gold, Bullabulling
Some bonanza style gold results have been discovered within significant gold mineralisation by Auzex Resources (ASX: AZX) at the Bullabulling Gold project.
New highlights include; 1 metre at 152.00 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 48 metres, 39 metres at 4.93g/t from 34 metres, 10 metres at 6.39g/t from 75 metres and 23 metres at 2.11g/t from 121 metres.
Bullabulling has the potential as a large tonnage, low grade deposit with high grade zones, as 59 holes indicate significant mineralisation, with a third showing a higher grade or increased width than historical results.
Providing a boost to the JORC compliant reserve due in March 2011, is that a quarter of the reported gold intersections are outside of the current resource model.
Also, additional mineralisation has been intersected below 120 metres, the base of the current resource estimate.
The current JORC Resource is; 41,517,000 tonnes at 1.48 g/t gold for 1.98 million ounces of gold at a 0.7 g/t gold cut off.
The 18,000 metre drilling program has now resumed following a year end break, with 6,923 metres completed so far.
Mineralisation remains open in all directions.
