CNPC Changqing Oil Field's output swells 19% in 2009

Changqing Oil Field, which is the second-largest oil field by yield and is owned by China National Petroleum Corp, recorded oil and gas output of over 30 million tons in 2009, achieving a year-on-year increase of 19%, sources reported.
Changqing Oil Field, which is located in Ordos Basin, Shaanxi Province and has an area of 370,000 kilometers, yielded around 15.70 million tons of crude oil and about 19 billion cubic meters of natural gas, CNPC said in a statement.
CNPC also said that it aims to improve the oil and gas output of Changqing Oil Field to 50 million tons by 2015.
