According to Russia International Information Telegraph Agency on March 23, the price of food in Russia rises rapidly since the beginning of this year. The increase scope reaches 4.4% from January to February. It is 4 times grater than the increase scope in European Union. The speed of increase scope in Russia rise faster followed vegetables (18.6%), fruit (7%), bread (4.4%) and cooking oil (3.8%). From the beginning of the year until now, the rate of currency inflation in Russia has reached 3.6%. It may become an empty talk of remaining at 6-7% target during the year.
