The South Australian Government has pledged more than $10,000 to a Riverland horticulture company to grow a South American fruit called the feijoa. More than 230 of the fruit trees will be planted by GM Arnold and Son at Waikerie for a planned five-year trial. The money is from the Riverland Sustainable Futures Fund and covers two years of the trial.
