After more than 20 year s development the shoemaking industry in Guangdong province is on facing of industrial updating and transition. As a matter of fact the first round of the industry shift started as early as 2008, the first round transformation focused on nearby areas and neighbor provinces like Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangxi, some moved to Vietnam.
The statistic shows there were 300 shoemakers moving out of Dongguan city in 2009, and more moving out of Guangdong province in the year earlier.
Yue Yuen Group has transferred their production from Guangdong province to Hubei province with total investment of 1 billion yuan last year, and this year Fortune Group funded 600 million yuan in Henan for footwear production.
The all shoemakers in Guangdong province are facing the issue of production removes, and nowadays the owners of shoemakers in Guangdong province put the issue on top priority for consideration. They know it is enviable trend for labor intensive sectors to taking removing step because the advantages are losing now for footwear production, and they have to find out new place for their surviving.
