As one of traditional exported commodities in Guangdong province the exports of luggage and bags recorded a consecutive growth for recent years that accounts for 40% of total national exports in the same products, the exports increased 20.2% to US$4.91 billion for the first ten months, but decline to ASEAN countries, according to Guangzhou customs released the news yesterday.
EU, America and Hong Kong are the traditional exported markets for Guangdong's luggage and bags that take up 70% of marketing share, the exports to EU grew 23.6% to US$1.24 billion, to America surged 36.9% to US$1.5 billion, Hong Kong rose 24% to US$690 million in the first ten months.
