According to Jiaxing Import and Export Chamber of Commerce the export in the sector grew 33.6% to US$405.1 million in the first three quarters this year. The growth of export topped more than 100% in companies of Xinxiu, Aimeide and Xinwei.
The luggage and bags worth US$ 390.42 million were sold to EU, USA and Asian countries, accounting for 95% of total local export value in the industry. In value terms the EU tops the first with 44.3% of total export share, the second is America with 29.4% on share. The exports to India, Russia and ASEAN countries also saw a strong growth.
