Blessings for International Volunteer Day and Cheers for the Establishment of a Civilized Scenic Area

To commemorate this special day, the Communist Youth League Committee of the Administration of Dr. Sun Yat-sen s Mausoleum held a voluntary service activity entitled Protecting the ecological environment and building a humane and pollution-free city at Boai Plaza of Dr. Sun Yat-sen s Mausoleum in cooperation with the Business School of Hohai University.
The activity, integrating behavior guidance with concept popularization, consisted of three parts of panel display, banner signing and a jigsaw puzzle featuring environmental themes. The scenic area of Dr. Sun Yat-sen s Mausoleum set a panel of Rules for Civilized Behaviors. Boai volunteers standing beside the panel introduced the history and culture of the scenic area as well as the current status of ecological protection and handed out Zijin Mountain Protection Brochures to tourists to popularize environmental protection knowledge in the most visual and direct way.
A large number of citizens and tourists were deeply inspired, having signed on the banner of Protecting the ecological environment and building a humane and pollution-free city to show their support. The activity of the jigsaw puzzle featuring environmental themes was to complete a picture featuring environmental themes mainly through the joint efforts of tourists to popularize environmental protection concepts.
Due to its novel form, the jigsaw activity attracted the attention of many tourists. The activity enabled the ecological protection concepts to make their way into minds of tourists during their participation. Many children eagerly participated in the activity under the guidance of their parents. Although these children only have vague ideas of environmental protection knowledge, we believe that this activity has already planted a seed in their heart.
This voluntary service activity not only further led the general public to pay attention to the ecological construction at Zijin Mountain, but also added civilized colors and harmonious notes to the ecological construction of the scenic area.
