Form August this year, two more bus routes were added for the use of citizens and tourists. According to the Haikou Evening News these are the A and B, tourist lines which pass though Haikou scenic spots.
Line A runs from Baishamen Park to Haikou Volcanic Geopark, with a one way 10 RMB fare for the 34 kilometers journey. Line B starts from Evergreen Park and terminates at the Provincial Museum, with 6 RMB fare for a one-way trip.
In addition, two night bus routes began to run in Haikou from August onwards. The Number 1 service leaves from Evergreen Park and goes to Fucheng Town whilst the Number 2 service runs from Haidian Island to Evergreen Park. These are the first night buses to be operated in Haikou. The first bus departs at 10pm and the last at 3am the following morning.
