The Li and Miao Minority Village is located 28 km from Sanya and 49 km from Baoting County. This lush garden is planted with betel nut trees, a species native to Hainan Island. Betel nut, also known as Binlang or Areca nut, is the seed of the Betel Palm. This tall palm with shallow roots looks similar to the coconut tree and has significant bearing to Li and Miao Minority people.
