Shanghai Tourism Consumption Environment Scores 73.6% Satisfaction Rate

YESTERDAY, the report finding of the 2010 Shanghai Tourism Consumption Environment Survey co-sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration and Shanghai Municipal Consumer Protection Committee was released.
The Survey was spawned by issues identified in tourist spending activities research in 2009 and was initiated in January this year by Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration and the Municipal Consumer Protection Committee.
The Survey results showed that Shanghai`s overall tourism spending environment reached a satisfaction rate of 73.6%. 27.3% of those polled showed a very satisfied rating, and 46.3% of those indicated being quite satisfied and 22.3% satisfied with only 4.1% said they were dissatisfied. Compared with the result of 2009, the satisfaction rate has climbed up quite significantly, among which, transport scores the highest satisfaction rate, reaching 79.7% followed by accommodation (78.8%, shopping (72%), catering (30.9%) entertainment (70.9%) and tours (69.2%).
