Recently, ICCA announced its global city ranking list for conferences and meetings hosted by international associations in 2009. Shanghai hosted a total of 58 international association meetings and conferences in the year 2009, ranking it at the 28th position worldwide, which represents an increase of 1 meeting as against the figure for 2008, and Shanghai`s ranking stayed the same as 2008.
