Tecent Holdings, China's leading Internet provider, has signed to base its data storage and processing center, which is expected to be the largest of its kind in Asia, in north China's Tianjin Municipality.
According to an agreement the company signed with the government of Tianjin Binhai New Area on Sunday, Tecent's future data storage center will be capable to provide services for 400 million end-users in China.
The center, designed to cover a floor space of 90,000 square meters, can accommodate 200,000 servers.
