Chinese stocks rebounded at midday Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index surging 2.18 percent, or 53.38 points, to end the morning session at 2,501.13.
The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 2.46 percent, or 262.62 points, to 10,941.92.
