The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 76 yen range early Monday in Tokyo, slightly higher than its levels in New York on Friday.
At 9 a.m., the dollar changed hands at 76.75-77 yen against 76. 64-74 yen in New York and 77.04-06 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.
The euro was quoted at 1.4480-4482 dollars and 111.14-16 yen versus 1.4494-4504 dollars and 111.08-18 yen in New York and 1. 4427-4429 dollars and 111.15-19 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
