Hainan Airlines is now set to start flights from Inner Mongolia to Russia next week.
The new service between the cities of Manzhouli and Chita will run on Thursdays and Sundays.
More than 70 percent of trade between China and Russia passes through Manzhouli.
The travel time between the two cities will be about an hour.
It takes about 7 hours by car and about 12 hours by train.
