Chinese stocks trimmed losses on Thursday from the previous trading day. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.16 percent, or 3.91 points, to close at 2,463.05.
The Shenzhen Component Index slid 10.17 points, or 0.1 percent, to finish at 10,303.16.
