China's stocks opened slightly higher on Monday after the key index fell to the lowest levels in 31 months during last week's trading.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.2 percent to open at 2,322.02, while the Shenzhen Component Index opened up 0.39 percent at 9,735.34.
