China's stocks opened higher on Monday, as the drop of the country's September CPI (Consumer Price Index) boosted investors' confidence.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.13 percent to open at 2,434.49.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.17 percent higher at 10,455.51.
